Matthew 14:34 – 36

34 When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret.

35 And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick,

36 and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.

After dealing with the storm the ship continued to the land of Gennesaret which is on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Jesus' fame was well known in this territory, after his arrival all of the sick were brought for Him to heal.

Jesus' clothing had no healing powers, neither was there anything special about his clothes. But the act of touching His clothing showed their faith and because of their faith they were healed.

This is the same principle as the woman with the the blood issue (Matthew 9:20 - 22[“Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” ])
